A: From what I've seen the main differences between Collabwriting both the Nimbus web clipper and xTiles is that we work with live web pages and the way we enable users to collaborate.

If you create a highlight and leave a note it will be connected to the original source of the information and you (or your collaborators) would be able to locate the exact section with just a click.

We felt like a big part of collaboration depends on other contributors getting the full context, so while was want to give you the option to highlight what you found most important, we also wanted to give your collaborators the chance to get the full picture.

And of course, for us collaboration and direct communication is a big thing. I haven't seen that this is an option with the 2 listed tools, but if you share your Collabwriting highlights with someone they can leave their own comments for each of the highlights along with the notes you yourself have left 😄
