If Quick Open button never shows (even when extension is not loaded). Please check if it's not disabled in the Extension Settings:

Otherwise, Collabwriting Pop-up icon only shows when extension is not loaded, it's there to help you quickly open extension and then save a snippet.
The quickest way to save a snippet is to:
1. Highlight a peace of text
2. Press an ↵ Enter
Unlike most other Chrome Extensions we only load Collabwriting in your browser when you intentionally want it opened. And there's only a few lines of code to show a Quick Open button for more straight-forward UX.
This is why Collabwriting does not slower down your browser by loading a few MBs of code on every page load like Evernote and similar products.

Thanks for reaching out! We haven't tested with Arc before, it has a little bit different UX that most Chromium browsers so maybe it was a little bit confusing on how to get started.

I now use arc as well, awesome browser.
It turns out that the issue was not with the Arc but another extension, and there's a workaround for it as well:
