A: Hey sorry for the late response! Absolutely, it's actually on the roadmap https://collecta.space/feedback/p/right-click-text-highlight-save-to-collecta.
Q: Can a Collection be embedded on a different website?
Can I click a certain Tag and embed that result into my site? If this was to be used inside an academy for example, as a collections of sources, can we do that without the viewers seeing all the other buttons and information from your own website? As in, a true embed of the Collection only? Thank you.
This is definitely an interesting idea I might consider for the future, but it's not something that's possible on Collecta at the moment.
How often would you update these collections? If it's pretty static, I think there're websites that allow creating static collections as far as I know. But if you need to constantly update the collection, maybe this is something I can design in the...
Q: I really would like the option to re-organize the items saved.
Without that, we're basically looking at a fancy way to display bookmarks. Re-organizing items IS the way we all structure and deliver content, it is not linear in order of the saves..
I also think you NEED a way to filter searches. Help me and the users I share these collections to easily AND fast navigate to specific categories somehow. In other words, a filter system that can sit on top of the current scroll mode.
It is disappointing that video links do not parse.. Not a deal breaker, but would make for a visually more powerful Collecta, IMHO.
Your sample page is very fast, I liked that.
Can these collections be embedded? I think I saw this an an option but on your site I cannot find details on it.
The limit of 500 items saved per month is small, especially if one needs to use Collecta for a research project.
Last, is there a way to export a collection, even as a CSV of LINKS? I ask because if your server goes down, our collections go too...
A: Hey! Thanks so much for all the feedback! Allow me to address some of it.
Reorganizing is something that's been asked before actually! Please feel free to create a feature request (https://collecta.space/feedback), I feel like this would be a great addition honestly. But I'll need to figure out how to pick a difference between showing artifacts in chronological view vs custom order. Opened for...
You can upload images from your computer to Collecta right now! You can paste images, select them via the file selector, or drag and drop over the site.
As for the public html links, I assume you mean a direct URL to the source of the image. For that I don't have any plans. Collecta is a space to store, organize, and resurface your digital artifacts. It's not...
Q: Hi!
Is there a way to get a demo of the product and consult on possible ideas and use-cases, collab? Screen share. Thanks!

Q: With regard to saving text on web pages, a highlighting feature like the one below would be very useful.
