Q: What does the number of data systems mean

Hi,
what does the number of data systems mean? Is it the number of data systems from which I can choose from or is it the number of data systems which I can connect to / integrate with?

What exactly is a data system and how is it used?

Thanks and kind regards
Uwe

A: Hi there. It is the number of data systems you can add to your account as part of the data mapping process.

Data systems are used in two different ways. The first is just maintaining a record of the systems that you use and how you handle data within them. Regulations like GDPR have certain requirements around this depending upon the size of your company (the GDPR example is ROPA or the Record of Processing Activities for companies with more than 250 employees). We allow you to easily enter the systems and fill out data about each system in order to meet that requirement and for internal documentation and learning purposes. The second use for data systems is for handling privacy requests. Data systems can be attached to projects in Concord so that you have an automated task list that needs to be completed for any received requests.

They aren’t directly tied to consent management and there are no limits when it comes to the number of scripts, iframes, cookies, etc. that we automatically scan and detect as part of that process.
