Their iOS app is no longer on the Apple Store, their help chats automatically close, and there are CSS 404s in their application when you embed it on a website. I have tried submitting support requests, direct emails, chats, and trying to send a message in a bottle, but all with no response.
I assume this product is dead. Rest in peace Continually.
I agree with the earlier "unethical founder" comment. They changed their plans and on top of it, they won't let me change my email address even though I no longer have access to it.
Founder sold it to us as "Business plan" which was the second highest plan after Enterprise plan. However, the founder recently changed the name of plans. Appsumo buyers are not mapped to an existing plan.
I'd had support widgets in the past, but weren't super keen on them for their hefty price tags - when I saw this deal I thought it looked cool and I'd get it, tinker with it when I had time, and maybe it'd be okay.
Well... When I redeemed it, I poked around and the interface was so simple I was able to set up a bot for my site with a few common questions and responses along with a couple specialized bots for products that were commonly sold.
It seriously took less than an hour for three bots and complete set up!
Once it was done I didn't think much of it (I was super busy with other projects), until I was in a launch and noticed I started getting tons inquiries... Mind you, NO ONE has ever submitted through the contact page on my site, but that lil' bot was just so welcoming that they asked, and in turn I made sales I otherwise wouldn't have made!
The ROI on this has been incredible!
Plus I'll be the first to admit most weeks I simply delete it, but continual.ly does send weekly reports - and when I do open them, I'm ASTONISHED by how many people are using it to find (AND GET!!!) answers!
Over the years I've seen hundreds of offering from AppSumo, some end up being the deal of a lifetime and others... well others aren't - Continual.ly falls into the OMG, I'M SO FRIGGING GRATEFUL I JUMPED ON IT category.
P.S. When I say the platform is simple, I'm probably still not giving it enough credit!
