I've had this forever and love the simple ease with which you can quickly capture a business card and have the data auto-populated into your system. The App is kind of like an answering machine (for those old enough to remember),,,,you don't know how much you need it until you have it!
I can't say enough about the support. Even though I'm a LTD from the freebie run (eg. they never made a dime off of me, and may not) they very quickly responded and assisted me in helping to recover my account after an error on my end. Great App, Great Company, Great Support! 5 Tacos.

It recognizes the Chinese words very well, I used several card scanners before and Covve's better than other card scanners so much. Gald to get the special offer and their customer service replied to my email inquiry within 24 hours, fantastic^^.

This does cards quickly and easy. Pros - The ocr is perfect most of the time. It shows the cards in a list. It will do a export to csv spreadsheet.
cons, it does not see that the phone number is a phone or fax or mobile at least on the 5 cards I did. And it does not seem to scan the back of the cards that I have found.

I have now "gifted" this to 2 family members and will likely gift it several more times as long as it is on AppSumo.

Here are a few important points when looking at this deal.

1-It just works. I have tried it on a few ridiculous business cards and it read them all perfectly and loaded all the data into my phone for contacts. Perfect scanning/reading.

2-It is $9 dollars. For the cost of...anything, really is anything less than $9 anymore? for the cost of anything you can get this.

3-If you EVER get business cards then buy it. Next time you go to a conference you will be the king/queen of staying in touch because you will scan their card and have it in your contacts right away and you can respond that night or the next day saying "it was great to meet you Bob, your XYZ thing looks awesome. Can't wait for you to send me that info packet" or whatever. If you go to networking events-we all hate them-you can once again be king/queen by doing the same.

4-They have a relationship management software that pairs with the app. It was once a AppSumo deal and like an idiot I didn't see it. But if you love the business card app, and you will when you spend the $9, then you will likely find value in the RMS software.

so to summarize the card reader works really well, only costs $9, you can be the King/Queen of any conference or networking thing you ever attend, and if you want you can even use their RMS software.

PS-another idea once you buy this deal-it is $9 so buy the deal-is to go get the book "Never Eat Alone" by Ferrazzi (Noah had him on his podcast once) and practice what he preaches. Your relationships will blow up, in a good way, if you pair that with this software.

Had good lighting and scanned my first 2 cards. Both had errors. Some in the spelling of the names of a company and both had issues with the phone number. It would be really nice if there was some general formatting. I know there are different country codes, but maybe you could select your default country before scanning cards. I had 1 of the 2 show up with a : symbol in the middle of the phone number. The other one was formatted on the card like this (555) 123-4567 - when it was scanned it showed up in the profile as 15551 123-4567 - If I have to go back and fix all the errors, I should just manually enter the info. It takes too much time to proofread and double-check. We'll see if I use it but not at the stage where I feel comfortable recommending it to someone.
