Solves the hidden pain point for any business - The Waiting Time!
Like most sumo-lings, I was very skeptical about buying the deal initially.
The moment Joi started listening to the requests from Sumo-lings & offered more for us, I jumped in.
Whatagraph is the other deal where the team listening to the requests from Sumo-lings and offered more for us.
Glad to see the Founder responding to comments very actively, which speaks for the support.
Kudos to Joi from CrankWheel.
Pros & Cons of the product have been discussed all over.
So, just a few more questions:
1) You've mentioned that I can use CrankWheel on multiple domains. Can I set up a unique logo & page to redirect for each domain?
2) Why are the codes not stackable? I really would buy 5-10 deals if you allow just that
3) Can you share your roadmap for Q3 & Q4 2017?
4) Do you provide any discount if I decide to upgrade to a higher plan? If yes, what's the % discount?
5) You have mentioned about Zapier integration is included. Do you also provide native CRM and/or Autoresponder integrations too with this deal? If not, why not?
6) Are you running any webinars for us to show how to get the max out of the product? If yes, when?

May 9, 2024Hi Sampath,
Thanks for your review and the feedback. We've been learning very quickly these past few days, and all the feedback from Sumolings has been extremely valuable to us and is impacting our product roadmap and plans in a positive way.
Answers to your questions:
1) Each Appsumo code will set you up with one company account. Each company account can have a single post-session redirect page, a single company logo, and a single set of customized messaging and lead capture questions in Instant Demos. If you would like to use Instant Demos on multiple domains with different branding, you may wish to purchase multiple deals.
2) We are not able to offer stacking of multiple deals under one company account. However, if you have a large organization that would need more meetings than are included in the Appsumo plan, you could buy separate deals for different departments or teams, and set each up as a separate “company” account.
3) Certainly. Please take the roadmap with a grain of salt, as priorities can shift depending on customer feedback and opportunities on the market, but here is roughly what we are thinking for the rest of the year:
We will continue to improve Instant Demos in several ways. Some of the plans we have are as follows, but we would also love your feedback:
- SMS notifications for Instant Demo requests
- Customize mandatory lead cap questions (only phone number is mandatory today)
- Let you pre-fill lead cap info (for example: pre-fill email when linking to Instant Demos lead cap in an email campaign)
- Add more lead capture data types; today we have text and email, we’ll add e.g. multiple choice
- Integration with mailing list providers so prospects can sign up for a mailing list during lead capture
- Improve the ways you can track conversions to demo request. Currently we have JavaScript events
- Slack integration for Instant Demo requests and to initiate screen sharing from Slack
We will continue to improve the core screen sharing capabilities. A key improvement will be to deploy servers in more parts of the world, to improve latency. We have other proprietary improvements on the drawing board that should improve quality and frame rate.
We expect to launch recording of video and audio (presenter-side only) in early Q4. We're demonstrating it at a conference end of August so that timeline is fairly firm.
We have several other things on our roadmap that would make CrankWheel usable in a larger variety of communication needs. This part of our roadmap needs to be further prioritized to see if and where features land, but they include the possibility of text chat in sessions, pure VoIP, pass presenter, bring your own phone conference, and more.
4) Sumolings will have a 20% discount for life if they decide in the future to upgrade from their Appsumo plan. This will be on top of any standard discount that may be provided for paying a year at a time rather than a month at a time.
5) Zapier integration is included. We are currently in an invite-only beta phase, which is mandated by Zapier as part of their process to approve any integration, and will be followed soon by a public beta. Any Sumoling can get an invite to the beta by signing up at http://bit.ly/crankwheelzapierbeta, and we expect the complete beta process will take around two months. This is not fully under our control as Zapier may require changes that cause delays.
Native CRM integration for Salesforce is available on our Enterprise plan, and Hubspot CRM integration is coming soon. We tackle native CRM integrations as an implementation project with each new enterprise customer and as such can only offer it on significantly larger plans.
6) Yes, we will be running webinars on a roughly monthly basis, more often if there is a lot of demand. These will be announced on our mailing list, which you can opt to join when you choose your password for CrankWheel, or you can join here if you didn't opt in previously: http://eepurl.com/bjZ-nX
I hope that helps. Looking forward to further feedback from the Appsumo community!
Cheers,
Jói
