Warmed up to it
It's a great piece of software for 39$. I can overlook the few flaws at that price. Will list our all the pros and cons so far
Cons:
1) lag of above 6 seconds.. tried on 3 devices and I've got the same lag between my screen and the clients. Since I can see what the client is seeing i can work around this though
2) no audio. Some of the things I want to share have music or audio cues which I want the client to hear. Not just my voice on the phone. Really wish this is added soon
3) if it could become more webinar friendly I'd literally not use any other software for video. I just love the interface so much
Pros:
1) it's so simple for the client! I just sent links via WhatsApp and all they had to do was click and we were sharing screens. That really is amazing.. ie no Download required for the client
2) watching the client screen as mentioned before
3) removal of the excess branding
4) the interface. It's so simple for me to to setup and use.
Basically, it does what it does well.. just wish it did a lil bit more. Not tried the live demo yet.. just the meetings but I see the value in it and will add it to my site soon. Tl;dr.. I like it and it does what it promises very well. Adding Audio would make this one of the deals of the year !

May 9, 2024Hi guys, we are investigating a few outliers in terms of latency, both Malcolm's case and a case reported by a user in France. Our analytics so far from yesterday show a few meetings that are total outliers at something like 7 seconds latency and one meeting at around 9-10 seconds latency.
Will post back here and in a new comment if we are able to verify what the underlying problem is, and will continue to investigate reports such as these. Anybody who is having latency issues would be helping us out if they would email support@crankwheel.com (or me directly at joi@crankwheel.com), which will allow us to investigate the specific cases in more detail, as it's hard or impossible to tie outlier statistics from our analytics system to specific sessions in our diagnostic logs without getting reports from these users.
Cheers,
Jói
