Q: Hi there.
Are you familiar with a tool called Wicked Reports? It seems like your purpose is similar (helping ecommerce stores understand what is/isn't working in terms of marketing and other efforts). I understand that you use annotations and Wicked Reports uses first party data for attribution. But I am wondering if you can share any comparison and whether you consider your tools to be complimentary or overlapping? Thank you!

May 14, 2024A: Hi James,
I didn't know WickedReports, but it connects channels to understand attribution and touchpoints, from what I can see. However, I don't see the option for annotations or data sources; it also looks like they display the data on their platform only.
With Crystal Ball, you can connect channels using our Zapier Integration (we will develop Pabbly and ConnectzIT soon) or the API. Also, we have data sources like Holidays, Google Updates, Retail Marketing Dates...
There are different places you can see the annotations:
1- On Crystal Ball, annotations page
2- On Crystal Ball, analytics page
3- On your Google Analytics, over the charts, using our Chrome Extension
4- On the Chrome Extension, in any URL
5- On Google Data Studio
6- You can also use the API or Zapier to export your annotations to other tools.
