So, I'm using this particular platform for my own business and not as a freelancer. It has been installed on a website which is focused on form submissions to generate leads, there is no eCommerce on my site.
I didn't know if I needed this software, it took me some time to finally purchase it. I can see the benefits of it now for capturing data and sending it to various sources.
Interface: The interface is simple taking you step by step through each setting so you can begin recording actions on your website. There were a few quirks to the system which I eventually overcame. I personally felt the instructions weren't quite clear as to how to implement the code. The first quirk I encountered was the pointing finger. I didn't realise that it needed to be clicked before you selected the submit button element when I finally figured it out I was able to setup each submission form. The second quirk I encountered were submission not being recorded, this turned out to be the confirmation page I had added which was preventing this information from being captured. Once these two issues were resolved, it worked like a charm. I am now able to record specific events on Google and Facebook based on form submissions. The recorder captured all the fields in my forms without any issue, including name, emails and phone number. I am able to make lookalike audiences without relying on Mailchimp anymore, this continuously updating my audience data without anymore custom creation. It takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out, its amazingly easy. I recommend more instructions to make it a bit easier in the future.
Support The support was very good. the guys were willing to help, even working through my website to try and resolve issues. I was very impressed. Great job. The service delivered by Customerlabs has to best I have experienced thus far. Easily accessible, quick to respond and going the extra mile.
Summary I initially thought I might not really use this, but I can now see the application in multiple scenarios. Especially in marketing, the events feed audience lists automatically. There are many other integrations available and they are even open to suggestions. I have never been able to implement event code like this, and Action Recorder has completely solved that problem. I highly recommend this product if you want deep information on your website visitors. Great service, great product.

I'm glad I found this deal or I would be taking more lessons on how to use Google Tag Manager to track events. It's simple, click on the area you want to track on your site and send the data to almost every marketing vendor. I could do this with only basic skills in GTM and GA. The best part is you do not need to worry about the code at all. Just add their script and setup is done.
The only issues I experienced is lack of thorough documentation. This caused me some frustration that I was almost about to give up but now I got the hang of it. Another minor thing is that the UI looks like 90s internet but it works and gets the job done.
All in all for $49 you are getting more what you paid for! Thinking about stacking codes. Thanks guys and keep improving!

I must say, when we decided to do Appsumo deal I was thinking we are going to make money which will sort out few things. But, I spoke with several of you.
That gave me bigger picture, many I spoke with are solopreneurs, small businesses and they wanted to do something. Competing with businesses who have money is hard, they move...
I'm testing it on a client LP to send data to facebook (custom audience for retargeting), adwords (conversion to create a custom audience for retargeting) and analytics. It works and it saved some time. I'm not pro enough to say that doing this with GTM would be equal easier. I suppose it wouldn't. Besides that, I'm just scratching the surface and using it to track views but I already see that we can use it with forms and a lot of other custom events. Negative points: The user interface is somewhat confusing and they should create better documentation or a few webinars (I already suggested those). Support is cool. First answer in a few minutes and they were very helpful. And this is wonderful. 60 days refund policy so we are safe to test. I stacked 5 codes to use with my clients. Hope you don't get "jooicered", "verstered", or "fielbooked" :D Overall, It is a good saas to play with, especially for small agencies or "one-man-shows".
