A promising ATS in a good deal

As a recruitment agency I use many ATS, and I can tell that CVViz offers a really good deal for its ATS. The features that they are working on are promising!

UX is really great, easy to understand and to navigate in.

I used it for few days now and I’ll give you a little feedback about what I think can be improved.

I’m using it for the French market, so it can be good to have a translated back-end.

I switched the front-end in French, but it can be good to be able to customize it. Moreover, the button to Apply (« Postulez maintenant ») is not suited to French, the text is longer than the box of the button.
There are few texts not translated in the front-end, like « Hiring for » or the term « Year » under the job title. As well as « Working Days » and « Working hours ».
I think it can be good to give the opportunity to the users to add the text they want or to let them design those elements.

The job posting process is quite interesting, but I think starting the Step 2, you should add a button « Skip » right before « Add Job ». As sometimes we just need to create a job offer quickly and sharing it in an other time. It took me 2 tries before understanding that I can skip some steps by clicking on the step itself.

In « Add Candidate », the « Find on Web » feature seems really great but it doesn’t show pertinent profils whatever the source (Resume Files/Linkedin/Stack/Github). It doesn’t match the search terms we put.
It’s one of the most amazing feature in this ATS, so I encourage you to improve it!

The Candidate Database.
I like the interface but it clearly misses a lot of information.
As a recruitment company, we often have to recuit abroad and it’s really important for us to be able to regroup candidates by country. Then I need to see the cities each candidates lives in. So it can be really good to add it in the column filters of the list and be able to manually assign it to each profil.
Moreover, for each candidate profil, I’ll need to be able to add more filterable datas which can be quickly visible. Now when I’m opening a file, il see its year of experience and its qualification, but I can’t see what is his position or what he looks for. I can have a qualification in Finance and working in IT or in a totally different field. So this information doesn’t really helps.

Didn’t tried the email feature yet. Can I use my regular hosting emails system and not Google or Outlook. How can I integrate it? Do you have an IMAP integration?

Report feature: it would be nice to be able to customize reports with the different datas collected.

Custom domain would be a great feature as well. But if I understood well, we can set that by embedding an iframe directly in our website?

White-labelling option would be great to.

What's the difference between Users and Vendors?

4 tacos for now as all features not working yet, but I’ll follow up to see the improvements.
I like it overall. Keep up your good work!

Thank you for the great review!

1. Regarding translating to French language, we used public tools and translation may not be perfect. If you could help us improve the French translation, we would be very happy. (We currently support French, German and Portuguese )
2. Skipping step while adding a job is a good suggestion. We would consider it.
3. For grouping candidates you can use Tags. Select the candidates you want to group and assign a tag to them.
4. We have outlook integration. Gmail integration is submitted to Google for their review.
5. You can use iframe to embed CVViZ listing into your website.
6. Users who you onboard or who uses CVViZ for recruiting purpose. Vendors are external recruiters who may help you source resumes.
