We gave it our best shot with Dadan but ultimately the audio quality of recordings was trash and a half. Video quality was just ok IMHO too. As for the mic issues, we are getting incredible sound quality from other apps like Letterly, and other screen recording apps like Vento and Konvey, both of which we also tested today but returned for other reasons.

We really wanted to like this given the reviews but there are two things that matter in videos and sound tops that list for us. Maybe we need to upgrade our mic OR we coulda hit up support but some things gotta work outta the box, sound and video quality are them!

It's all good though, operator error is common around my neck of the hood! So, we'd encourage you to NOT take our word for it and give it a try if you're on the fence. Having tried 3 screen recording LTD's today, we opted for a simple annual plan that worked. My experience has to be an outlier given the many overwhelmingly positive reviews, and how many tools we failed at (sensing a pattern).

Thankfully we've won SO MUCH on AppSumo we can't trip on the few refunds we had to make today. 2 tacos cuz audio was awful and video quality was meh. But we for sure wish the team and tool well and hope they keep meeting the needs of their ideal customers!
