Great and useful product!
I've purchased other video recording products and this one is one I use all the time because of its vast capabilities - I use it for recording videos, importing videos, transcribing, etc. I appreciate that they seem to be constantly updating the product and hope it continues to improve and stick around for years to come. Absolute disaster – the desktop recorder is simply unusable
Unfortunately, my first experience with the Dadan Windows desktop recorder has been an absolute disaster.
My very first recording produced a local video file that could not be opened at all.
With the following recordings, the files could be opened, but the screen recording itself was unreliable:
- In VLC Media Player, the recording remained completely black.
- In other recordings, the captured screen simply remained static. For example, when I switched from the desktop to the browser, or from one browser tab to another, Dadan did not follow the change and continued showing the previous screen.
This makes the recorder fundamentally unusable. A screen-recording tool has to reliably capture what is actually happening on the screen. If I am showing something to a client and switching between websites, tabs or applications, I have to be able to trust that these changes are actually being recorded.
At the moment, I cannot trust Dadan even for the most basic screen recording.

Promising but with issues
I moved from Tier 1 to Tier 2 trying to add team members licences. Still no sure if i did the right decision.

Dadan negative
- Bad and slow responsive support system
- Bad and buggy system to add licences to your team
- Sound when Recording on desktop app in quite unclear and bad quality.
