I have ScreenToVideo. But I also bought Dadan with several expectations:
1) ability to have video immediately online and ease to share
2) quizzes and educators as one of the target audiences.

First one is fine, though in my case the windows app failed to launch. I use only browser extension so far. I mostly work in chrome, so it covers 90% of needs.

As for education purposes it is very far from being good.
1) you can have only one question per quizz with max 5 options.
2) there is no handy way to refine the position of quiz. You play video, stop and add interaction. In my case interaction cut part of words.once you placed it, you can't adjust its position.
3) playback is not possible when you add interaction. If you need to put many quizzes throughout a video lesson, you need to close interactions list to move to the next point and then reopen it
4) there is an option to add text feedback to right and wrong answer. There is no default option. You need to write the same text each time (ex. 'correct!')
5) editor is poor. There is no way to add image to video.
6) and the worst. Whether the answer wrong or right, the video goes on. No way to make a student rethink the wrong answer. It is also possible to skip.

So interactions for educators are rather a dream, than reality. Not sure they will ever do it really good for making interactive lessons. But quite good for basic needs like app tutorials, meetings, etc. transcription is also handy in some cases.

I have not yet decided whether I want to keep it, having screentovideo.
