Unreliable and no longer working properly!

As other reviewers have noted, this app has become very unreliable since I purchased it late last year and no longer works properly. I have not been able to successfully record anything for days, as every recording gets stuck in an endless processing screen, which never finishes. Support has been nonexistent, even if you reach out to them through chat support. There also haven’t been any posted updates in their changelog since the beginning of the year, which clearly indicates a lack of progress toward bug fixes and improvements.

Overall, this has become extremely frustrating and unreliable to use. It's unfortunate because this had potential, but it seems there isn't much effort being put into it anymore. The founder may be responsive to reviews, but the fact that this is happening repeatedly and to so many others as well indicates a pattern of failure that is not being addressed properly.

First of all, I’m really sorry that this has been your experience with dadan recently. I completely understand your frustration, especially when recordings get stuck processing after you’ve already spent time creating them.

You’re also right to call out the communication gaps from our side. We should have done a better job responding and keeping users updated.

I do want to reassure you that the product is actively being worked on. A large part of the team’s focus recently has been on rebuilding core infrastructure, including a brand new Windows desktop app, Mac app improvements, and a rebuilt extension architecture focused heavily on recording stability and processing reliability.

That said, I completely understand that reliability is what matters most in day-to-day usage, and I’m sorry we haven’t earned that trust from you yet.
