Q: Are basic users transferable?

With a set amount of users, are we able to transfer a user to another when that user leaves my ecosystem? Or do we need to buy more "seats"? For example, with working with temporary staff, like college interns?

A: Yes, Desklog allows you to reassign a user seat. If one of your team members (such as a temporary staff or intern) leaves your ecosystem, you can delete or deactivate their account and then add a new user under the same seat without needing to purchase additional licenses.

This way, you can manage your fixed set of seats efficiently for both permanent employees and temporary staff.

Only if you want to increase the total number of active users beyond your current subscription will you need to purchase additional seats.

Q: Payment integration with invoices

This product looks great! I’m curious if Desklog supports the ability to connect a payment processor (PayPal/Stripe) so clients can pay their invoices directly? If not, is it on the roadmap? I’m looking to ditch Harvest but the ability to collect payment is a must have. Thanks for your time!

At present, Desklog’s billing and invoice feature does not support direct payment integrations like PayPal or Stripe. You can include your bank/payment details manually on invoices for clients to complete payments externally.

That said, we truly appreciate your suggestion. The ability to collect payments directly is a valuable feature, and we’ve added it to our internal roadmap discussions.

Q: How to book activity tracking

HI, before I buy Plan 3, I bought Plan 1 first. What I noticed is that the activity tracking of the apps is not included in the plan. I would have to buy an Enterprise plan separately for this. Can I add this somehow? The tracking of the apps would be important for analysing productivity.

Q: Asana integration?

Does this integrate with Asana? We have dozens of small tasks that get done daily that need to be tracked and it would defeat the purpose of time tracking to have to enter each one manually.

A: At the moment, Desklog does not support direct integration with Asana. However, we currently offer integrations with Jira and ClickUp, which are widely used for task and project management alongside time tracking.

We understand the importance of automating task tracking, especially when dealing with numerous small tasks, and we’ll certainly consider Asana integration for future updates.
