Q: Rejected Date
Why are PDF files that I want to upload to a Vector database not accepted? It can't be the files, they have been accepted before in a different process.

Sorry for the trouble! If PDFs were accepted before but not now, it might be a bug or a format issue with the Vector database node.
Could you email [email protected] with details (e.g., file type, size, error message)? We’ll troubleshoot it for you ASAP.
For now, test with a simple PDF-to-text flow to isolate the issue.

sometimes you have to try again. it will be accepted in most cases. the things that is still not clear to me is whether or not the AI really sees the vector database. I have tried several times and I didn't receive any reference to the documents . it seems the chatbot ignores the instruction to use them or to bring reference to the source when answering a question. maybe it something I did .

the use case is simple. if the chatbot answers or supposed to answer from a file first, I want to know that it was indeed the case. it seems that it doesn't do that. it isn't aware of the vector files even if they are connected to the chatbot. this is my impression after testing it with one files or several files or files in a group. Referenc is a basic feature on a chatbot supposed to give answer
