Awesome at first, but the Diaflow credits kills this deal

At first, the deal seems perfect, but when you use the tool, you realize that all sorts of actions consume these diaflow credits. And that even makes Tier 4 absurd. Unlimited automations? Pff, yeah. But you don't even come close to using that in ANY productive environment.

Let me explain, you have 50,000 credits per month (Tier 4):

- For example, web scraping costs 20 credits.
- For example, HTTP requests cost 10 credits.

Imagine building a single flow, a single cool automation that's a little more complex, just a little! You easily reach a credit consumption of 60 per call. And now what?

With the 50,000 credits, you can call this single flow about 833 times, at which point your monthly credits are used up. Do you have four similarly complex flows/automations? Well... then you can access each of them 208 times per month. Is that a lot? No. Not if you have 10 users who are supposed to access this automation. Let alone 1,000. This deal is only for private users, and even then, it's limited.

Need a simpler example?
Scraping a Website uses up to 20 Credits.
1 of your flow user -> 2500 scrapes per month (okayish)
10 of your flow users -> 250 scrapes per month (umpf)
100 of your flow users -> 25 scrapes per month (uh oh)

They promise "unlimited" automation. This may be correct. But as I said, the credit system blows your plan. :)

Think BYOK is the solution? Not at all! This way, you won't have to use Diaflow Automation credits on nodes that support BYOK; of course, that only applies to a few, you know - these AI Nodes (ChatGPT etc.). HTTP requests, web scraping, etc., always go to the rare, expensive Automation credits.

Honestly? If you have bigger plans, stay away. Yes, you can buy more credits, but they're so ridiculously expensive, it's insane. 44,000 credits, for example, cost another $200.

Use this productively somewhere? Good luck...

Very Basic

At first look i was thinking that Diaflow will be amazing, but after i tried i am with feelings that the app is on early stage and their team are not so passionate to make it the best.
First of all the support answers are too slow. So when you are lost in the app functionalities there is no one to help you right away.

As you can see, since its launch on AppSumo three weeks ago, our team has shipped over 20 new features and requested BYOK on Diaflow every week. This is a promise to all Diaflow users worldwide.

Regarding customer support, as a startup, we don’t have a large technical support team to provide immediate assistance. However, we have a Discord community where our users can receive support as quickly as possible. If you were there, you’d know how fast our team is at resolving questions. Good potential but not ready

I tested this product both by using the inner workings and by trying to create a small application that connects in API to the service. Here is what I think of it:

PRO
- very good potential. Idea behind the project is good
- in a few steps you can create very useful scenarios
- The software can be used (for the simplest tasks) even by those without technical knowledge
- It has several functions that can be used in different scenarios. Also good is the possibility of having internal data structures on which you can save various useful information for the scenarios you create

AGAINST
- in general I had the feeling that the application and website are still in the termination phase and not ready for sale
- to integrate my own external app into this service I had to go by trial and error as the documentation is insufficient.
- I agree with other users about the gdpr policies being unclear. This is a problem especially in relation to the new directives that have been issued
- a few times within the application I have verified bugs (for the project staff: If you want I can send you a list of the malfunctions I have identified)
- the website is not complete and does not provide basic information. The technical documentation is not complete either

As a summary, I think that this service, if brought to a correct implementation state, could be a good service to use to solve a multitude of cases. At the moment, however, I still see it as not 100% mature.

Powerful AI Platform with Impressive Flexibility and Good Support

I've been using Diaflow for a few weeks now and I'm thoroughly impressed. It's an excellent app and I've genuinely enjoyed pushing its limits to fully explore its potential. Anytime I've encountered an issue, their support has proven to be responsive and helpful.

What really stands out about this platform is the continuous expansion of their "Bring Your Own Key" options. This feature unlocks a lot of additional power, significantly broadening what can be accomplished with the app and making it truly versatile.

Promising Prospects for the Future

Compared to long-established products like Make and n8n, Diaflow is still relatively new. However, they actively listen to customer feedback and have already planned to implement those suggestions in their Product Roadmap.

In terms of features, there might be some initial difficulties for first-time users. However, after receiving guidance from the Diaflow team, I was able to use the platform with ease. I also heard that they plan to update the documentation to make it more user-friendly and launch Diaflow Academy in the future.
