Q: Twilio / Int / Call Tree / Port

1) Can we port our Twilio phone number to your system, it’s a Thai number, and if so would that be covered under the 1 free phone number?

2) What costs would we have using your service fo inbound calls to our Thai number? If we are still using Twilio for the number, does that mean we still pay thier per minute rates, and whatever your rates might be?

3) right now when users call, we use the Twilio system to ask them press 1 for English, 2 for Thai, can we do that within your system? If not, is there a way to connect Twilio into2 different flows in your system?

4) if can’t port the Thai number, what about port us local number as the free number for our account?

A: Great questions — here’s a detailed breakdown of how it works:
1. Porting Your Twilio Thai Number
You can’t directly port a Thai Twilio number into Dialora. What you can do:
• You can continue to use your Twilio number with Dialora through call forwarding or connecting your Twilio API key inside Dialora.
This will be in addition to your one free phone number but since your're bringing your own number, you won't be charged anything for that from Dialora.

2. Cost Structure for Inbound Calls
If you continue using your Twilio number, Twilio will charge you their per-minute inbound rate (for receiving the call), and Dialora will charge you our per-minute AI processing cost (for the agent, transcription, etc.).
If you instead use a Dialora-managed number, you’ll only pay the Dialora credit rate — it’s all-inclusive (carrier + AI).

So, using our number simplifies billing and usually reduces overall cost.

3. Now with AI, you don't need to get them to press anything anymore. The AI will ask them which language they want to talk in and they can tell the AI and talk in english or Thai.

Alternatively, if you want to stay within Twilio for the menu, you can connect Twilio to two different Dialora call flows using our Custom Tools + API endpoints — we’ll guide you through setup.

4. Using a U.S. Number Instead
Yes — you can claim a U.S. local number under your free included phone number benefit. It’s instantly available and doesn’t require KYC.
Later, you can switch or add your Thai number once local availability opens (ETA ~1–2 months).

If you’d like, we can walk you through this setup live and ensure your Thai and English routing works perfectly.
