Appreciate your interest. Here're the answers:
1. Yes, we are planning to integrate MCP Server features and AI Agents into our software in the near future. While we do not have an exact release timeline to share yet, these enhancements are part of our future development plans.
2. Yes, Directorist works well alongside many other WordPress plugins. We also provide integrations with several popular WordPress plugins to extend functionality and improve compatibility across different use cases.
3. For businesses with multiple locations, the recommended approach is to create a separate listing for each business location, similar to how Google Business Profile handles multiple branches. This allows each location to have its own address, contact details, reviews, and search visibility. There are also third party extensions available that support managing multiple locations under a single listing.
4. Directorist includes a Location taxonomy system that allows you to organize listings by different locations. Additionally, you can assign one geo located address to each listing for map and radius search functionality. For example, a business listing can be assigned to a city or region through the location taxonomy while also having a specific address displayed on the map.
5. For member management, users can manage their own profiles and listings from the frontend Dashboard. Admins can also manage users directly from the WordPress Dashboard. If you need more advanced member management features, you can use other compatible WordPress membership or user management plugins along with Directorist.
6. Yes, Directorist includes Geo Directory style features. Users can search listings by location and use radius search to find businesses within a specific distance from an address or ZIP code.
7. Yes, you can use listings as events. You can create event listings and add custom event related information such as date, time, venue, and other details through custom fields.
8. Yes, you can create different membership or pricing plans using our Pricing Plans extension. Users can purchase a plan and then submit or publish listings based on the permissions and features included in that plan.
