Q: WhatsApp Business Integration
Hi champ. We have a few clients asking to setup a chatbot for them. With that I have a few questions that I hope you can assist me with:
1. Can I use my own Claude for all my clients so that they don't have to manage BYOK?
2. Being based in ASEAN, we have languages like Tagalog, Thai, Vietnam, Malay, Indonesia etc. Does the sales-bot detect these languages automatically and respond in the same language too?
3. How easy it is to integrate with WhatsApp business for our clients? What is the easiest way in doing this?
4. other than BYOK cost, is there any other cost like WhatsApp business API?
5. Any size on the knowledge base for each sub-account?
6.White-label for sub-accounts?
7. Can we run broadcast campaigns?
Thank you.

1. Yes. Connect your Anthropic key once on your agency account and every client sub-account uses it automatically, so your clients never have to touch a key. One thing worth knowing up front so it doesn't surprise you later: your key covers the Anthropic bill, but sub-accounts running on your key still use platform credits at the normal rate. Credits only drop to zero on an account that has its own key connected. If what you want is the lowest cost per client without managing a key for each, set their campaigns to our Max tier instead, which runs on our own AI at 0.25 credits per reply and needs no key at all. Bringing your own key needs Plan 2 or higher. More here: https://help.dmchamp.com/ai-automation/ai-model-and-byok
2. Yes, automatically. The bot detects the language the contact writes in and replies in that same language, with no per-language setup. Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay and Indonesian are all actively running on the platform today. One tip since you are multi-language: your own bot instructions take priority over the auto-detection, so if you write your example messages in English only, the bot can drift back toward English. Either write your examples in the languages you actually serve, or say nothing about language in your instructions and let it mirror the contact.
3. Two ways, depending on the client. The quickest is WhatsApp Web: the client scans a QR code with their existing WhatsApp number and you are live in minutes, with no Meta verification. The official route is the WhatsApp Business API: you buy a number inside the platform and activate it through a Meta popup. You do not need a Twilio account for this, we handle that under the hood. For that route the client needs a Meta Business account with business verification, plus a number that is not already registered on WhatsApp. For clients doing real volume, or who need templates and automated follow-ups, go with the Business API. 4. Yes, a few, and all of them are passed through at cost with no markup from us. On the Business API you pay for the phone number (a one-time purchase plus a small monthly fee that matches the carrier's own price for that number, so it varies by country) and Meta's own per-message and template fees. WhatsApp Web has no per-message fee and is $5 per month per connected number instead. With your own key connected, WhatsApp message delivery works out to about half a cent per message. There is no separate WhatsApp Business API subscription and no Twilio bill. Full breakdown: https://help.dmchamp.com/billing/billing-system
5. No size limit on the knowledge base, on any plan, and sub-accounts are no different from any other account. You can load in FAQs, documents and entire websites. The only practical limits are 50MB per uploaded file and 100 pages per website crawl, and a bigger site just takes more than one pass. Accounts are running knowledge bases with many thousands of entries today. Worth knowing: the bot searches the knowledge base and pulls only the most relevant few entries into each reply, so a large knowledge base does not slow it down or make the answers worse. 6. Yes, and it covers your sub-accounts automatically. You set it up once on your agency account, your own domain, logo, colors, app name, branded emails and a branded login page, and every client you add after that gets the branded experience with no per-client setup. Your clients see your brand, not ours. Setup is one CNAME record for a subdomain like app.youragency.com, and the SSL certificate is handled automatically. White-labeling needs Plan 3 or higher.
