DMARC Report Reviews

In the past, my email got blacklisted because someone accidentally put my message in the spam folder instead of the trash. The difficulty in restoring your credibility is quite significant.

Being protected against spoofing is essential today, and DMARC is the recognized protocol to do that, almost everybody adopts it. I suspect that most email users do not ever know what DMARC is. The only thing that they understand is that if a message is suspect it is better to trash it. So, if you care about your email reputation, you shall periodically check it. In general, we forget to undertake periodic tasks.

DMARC Report accomplishes that and pays for itself right away. First of all, ity checks if you are DMARC compliant then, in case of issue it reports them to you.

I will honestly admit two things.

I'm thankful I didn't see the alert in action since I'm following the rules, but I trust it works (and hope never get an alert).
My DMARC record wasn't set up by DMARC-Report. It was done by a different email company from Appsumo that gave the right DNS record content. So it was already OK, and the DMARC-report simply stated "Compliant". It's anyway easy to find out how to set up a DMARC record by googling, even if you aren't an expert.

Their website is down and cant get hold of support, I dont know how else to get anyones attention other than post here. Fantastic when it worked, I just hope they havent shut down!

Update

Website and portal came back up. They put it down to scheduled maintenance but I never had any communication to say that it was planned, and had no way to get in touch with them.

Again, great product but communication should be better.

I have multiple websites, and I'm tech support for them. I've struggled a bit with DMARC, DKIM, etc. What I absolutely LOVE is that when there's a email sending problem (got one pretty fast) the system will give you an incredibly detailed explanation of what happened, how to fix it, and why.

As a self taught techie thiis the perfect tool for me. I want to fix things, and I want to understand why I'm doing them. That often keeps you from repeating the same mistakes.

The only con I can think of is that for someone completely unfamiliar with DMARC might find it a bit overhwhelming. My suggestion - give it a try. If you're not techie at all, accept it might be tough at first, and if it really doesn't work out you have the return window.

I'm sure this is probably the least appropriate way to get anyone's attention, but I've tried everything else and I can't seem to get through. I would love to understand if I'm using the product correctly and how it's going to work. The overall ratings are awesome, but I've been unable to reach support when I go to the support page. It asks me to log in. No matter what I do, it will not accept my password. I'm lost. Where do I go from here?

The platform assumes you already understand DMARC basics, so there's a learning curve for beginners.

Some users mentioned that the in-app help could be better with more tooltips explaining what each setting actually does.

DNS record detection had occasional minor hiccups for some users, though support addressed these quickly.

For complete beginners, the terminology can feel overwhelming at first.
