SCAM!

I purchased this as a lifetime deal. Now it's a 1-yr deal! I've requested a refund from Appsumo.

Great value document creation and signing, excellent automation

I agree with a couple of the other reviews that occasionally the interface can be a bit unintuitive (for example, you have to set up a workflow just to get a link to a document form, even if you haven't got much of a "flow" to speak of) but all in all at this price you really can't grumble, and 1,000 docs is very generous for much business use.

Once you get your head around how to use it, it is actually very straightforward and reliable and I whole-heartedly recommend. We're using it for our simple contracts going forward, and it's awesome working with some of our partners' PDF contracts which have always been a complete pain before as they used to have to be filled in, signed, scanned etc. No longer!

A couple of small things -
> The automation stuff is excellent - tested with Zapier and webhooks. But be careful when you are generating filenames from form fields - if there are ANY spaces in the answers (eg a fullname with a space in the middle) the filename creation will not pass through automation properly - there is a warning about this in the app but it also applies to spaces WITHIN the data, which I didn't realise at first.
> When a third party fills out the form and signs it, as well as the form itself they receive a really cool additional PDF with the signature details, IP etc. Though all these details are accessible in Docdown as well, it would be great if this additional PDF could be emailed to the Docdown account holder as well. I couldn't find a way to do this.

Anyway, minor issues. Great value. Keep it up Paras :-)

Perfect for eliminating manual filing and human errors

Our business revolves around filing paperwork to the government and we had a lot of manual processes that we couldn't seem to automate. Docdown has cut down at least 5 minutes on each form saving us hours of manual entry each week. Incredible deal and really a gem to get ahold of a lifetime deal. I found it easy to use and set up so no complaints on this end!

Great doc for those that need to automate signing

This is a great tool for those of us that need to have documents signed. I like it even more now that they have added audit trails, as I deal with a lot of legal and/or financial documents that need signing - so this feature was a must.
Has integrations with pretty much everyone and webhooks as well. Takes a bit to get used to, but the automation part of it definitely makes it worth the buy!

Useful and has extremely high potential, but UI is clunky

The reason I give 5 tacos is because this tool will be extremely useful for me.
My business will need digital signatures and PDF forms on a daily basis, and doing them manually will waste precious time, resource that I don't really have the luxury.

After testing Docdown, I'm confident that this will save me a lot of time, and make everything (the workflow) more automated, organized, and reduce human errors as well.

What I dislike and needs improvement:

1. UI is clunky, needs to be better and more intuitive

2. Needs to have a quicker way to just do a "quick signature between several parties" like other document signing tools. I know that it's mainly for automated workflow, but basic signing should be really easy, should no need to create custom workflow for this.

3. The form filling & signing UI is not intuitive / needs fixing. On mobile, only the form shows, and not the document preview. On desktop, the signing/filling part and the preview part is separated. Meaning that the user does not experience exactly where the signature will be. It is "functional", but the UX is not good.

4. Form filling/signing UI is buggy. If we currently filling, then resize the window to be narrower or vice versa, ALL form contents will reset/cleared. Meaning has to start all over.

I wanted to give 4 tacos because of the above issues. Fortunately Docdown gives API and webhooks, otherwise I won't buy at all.
