Q: I am slightly confused about answers to other questions.
I would like to buy the T4. There are 50,000 credits included.
However, I want to use my own API key from OpenAI and Anthropic. Does this mean that in addition to the OpenAPI / Anthropic costs that I incur through my own API, there are other consumption aspects, such as the consumption of your own credits for uploading documents to your system?
If so, how much do I get uploaded on average per month with T4 if I use my own OpenAI API?

May 23, 2024A: Hi @joel_m,
Scenario 1 (With BYOK): Credits are consumed only for document upload and processing.
Scenario 2 (Without BYOK): Credits are consumed for both document upload, processing, and interactions.
Credits are consumed for document upload and processing. However, this is a one-time deduction. Know about it in complete detail with an example here —> https://kb.docxter.app/documentation/ai-powers/#bring-your-api-key
To your question of how many uploads you can get per month. This is how the credit consumption works:
- 1 page: 1 credit
- 1 table: 3 credits
- 1 image: 3 credits
- 1 chat (i.e., question & answer): ~2 credits (for base AI model)
Example: Let's say you have a document of 8 pages, which has 2 tables, and 2 images.
So, the total credits consumed for uploading and processing:
pages: 8x1 = 8 credits
table: 2x3 = 6 credits
images: 2x3 = 6 credits.
Total credits consumed = 8+6+6 = 20 credits
Note: credits consumed for uploading and processing are one-time.
With 50k credits, you can upload 50,000 pages.

Hi, I see in the KB about the "Bring Your Own API Key" feature, but where do I add my keys? I don't see anywhere in the interface to add my own API keys.
Hi@Valuetream5.,
You can add BYOK in the Extend Panel. Navigate to the personalization menu wherein you will find 'Language', 'Intent', and 'Custom Prompt'.
Right below 'Custom Prompt', you will find the option to add your API key.
