Hey bars05,

Not as of right now but we do haveit on our roadmap here: https://roadmap.mydukaan.io/b/5m1qyp06/feature-ideas/public-apis-for-dukaan

What can be done with the API (the possibilities) and what are its limits? Can we now get a developer to integrate a 3rd party system on our own (eg Payment gateway, email marketing system or CRM)?

Hey PMDS,

This is still to be explored by our team regarding the features and limits of APIs we make public.

As of right now, in case you'd like to help us build plugins for the global audience, write to me at jyotbir.lamba@mydukaan.io

Cheers :)

Hi Jyotbir,
Thanks for the reply.
I sent an email to the Dukaan team regarding same a few days ago, but haven't gotten a response yet.
But I guess my major concern is the integration of a proper payment gateway for Caribbean merchants (esp. for Trinidad & Tobago). We have WiPay here (https://wipaycaribbean.com/apis) as the sole player atm, and I'd like to get that gateway integrated onto the Dukaan platform asap for this platform to make sense to sell to small business owners here - I listed it on the roadmap (https://roadmap.mydukaan.io/b/5m1qyp06/feature-ideas/wipay-payment-gateway-caribbean-countries) however, amidst all the other requests, I'm not sure how much priority this would be given. I do understand that your plate may be full.

This is the only way (as of now) that the Dukaan platform would be of any real use to merchants in my country and region. If Possible, please let me know what are the options I may have with this integration as I max-stacked to be able to sell to our merchants here.
Any perspective is appreciated. Thanks

Hey PMDS,

I understand that inai doesn't offer payment gateway providers for the Carribean area. We'll also explore the possibility of adding your own payment gateway when we go about figuring out the public API's for Dukaan.

Here's a workaround I can suggest (kind of a hack as of right now)
1. Add a dropdown in your order form if the user wants to do a cash-on delivery or online payment: https://help.mydukaan.io/en/articles/5041874-how-to-use-the-order-form-on-web
2. If COD, ship the order and accept cash
3. If online payment, manually send them the payment link and then ship the order.
