I was not going to even bother with this one. WooCommerce, Shopify... I am all set. Well, I got Dukaan and I am pleasantly surprised so far.

Setting up shops is easy, UI is nice and clean, quick integration with Paypal/Stripe, and so many products that I can now sell in all these stores... for a great one-time LTD price.

My main concern has been is Dukaan ready for the US market? The answer, almost. We all know how amazing their platform is overseas but there is a feature needed for it to be great in the US. Tax calculator for states in the US. This is on the roadmap and from what support told me it may be released right now while I am typing this review, or in a few days. Once the tax calculations are set Dukaan can become a major player.

Did some speed tests and Dukaan on desktop really flies with high Lighthouse scores. Mobile tests ran a bit slower, but the site works very well on mobile. Happy with that. Dukaan also has an analytics dashboard and SEO plugin.

I am pretty happy with the themes so far and I hear more are coming. Themes are easy to switch and you can add custom banners or Dukaan has a bunch of templates in their gallery. I wish there was a CSS Panel so I could customize it more. Maybe this will come down the road?

You can easily track all your customers, add discount coupons, create shop QR codes, generate invoices, download and share your store’s APK file, and it even comes with a Background Removal tool to clean up your product shots.

Digital downloads are also on the roadmap and this is another big feature I would love to have.

Basically to sum things up. If you are in or near Asia, this deal is a no-brainer. Even if you are not selling anything at the moment you may need to sell online one day and the pricing is good. If you are in the West, Dukaan is a good investment with a lot of potential. I'm betting on it and hoping within my refund period roadmap items get completed.

Support has been excellent and the founders are focused and aggressive. Might be the right mindset to take on Shopify.
