Q: UK sole proprietor

Hello, I am a UK sole proprietor but I do business with US customers.

I would only need us numbers to call US businesses.

Can I get past the 10DLC & KYC as a UK sole trader?

If the answer is yes, what tax details do I need to provide? Just my unique taxpayer reference (UTC)?

A: Currently, there’s no dedicated 10DLC registration pathway for UK sole traders. The best option is to register you as a Standard Brand using your business details. This requires a valid tax identification number for your jurisdiction (for example, a VAT number or equivalent).

If you don’t have any UK tax ID, we unfortunately won’t be able to complete your 10DLC registration to send A2P traffic in the US.
