Q: Really Disappointed Verification is Happening 5 Months After Tier 5 Purchase, After Refund Period Expired
I am very disappointed that your platform is verifying my business five months after I purchased a Tier 5 licence and left a positive review. You are asking for my business details now! Luckily, I have a standard academic learning website where emails are mainly sent to students and subscribers, but imagine if I were a different kind of business and verification fails!
- Verification after such a long delay is a very poor method and feels unethical and unprofessional. It should be done immediately on signup. If a business fails verification after the refund period has passed, the customer has no recourse.
- Also, I purchased a plan that is supposed to include unlimited domains, meaning I should be able to send from more than one business. However, verification asked only for one business details. Makes no sense!
Thanks.

The verification was always there; it was just not built in.
The only reason the verification would be denied is if you would not be following our Acceptable Use Policies (which also were always there and the same, not changed since we launched). So nothing has changed for genuine customers.
This is to prevent abuse of our platform, by ensuring that customers read and follow our Acceptable Use Policies.
Imagine if you wanted to be sending emails, and in the same IP pool, some people would be sending 18+ content, or phishing emails.
There is no delay, it is right after sign up. Before, there was onboarding IP pool and by getting verified you got moved out of it. Now we eliminated onboarding IP pool and replaced it with built-in workspace verification. Which takes usually less than <24h to get approved.
The verification is asked for your business use-case, if you have multiple domains, that is ok, but all of them need to follow our AUP as well.
This is not to punish new/existing customers, but to minimize abuse and ensure top delivery rates for everyone.
This is the first time it has asked me. I have not event sent 10 emails since signing up. So, it is strange that after logging in that's the first question. It should either ask when people first register or add a new domain. I have a feeling the system wasn't properly implemented early on, and now it is being implemented. Anyway, that's what it seems like to me.
