Q: Why is your company policing people's sites??? Are you guys crazy?

This is more of a notice of buyer beware to anyone who is thinking of buying this product. Emailit ha now taken it upon themselves to make sure that your website forms which have absolutely nothing to do with them ( I am not talking about embedded forms from their service), I am talking about your html forms that are native to Wordpress meet with THEIR standards and wording. I wish I was joking. They are restricting your account if you do not comply.
The problem with this is that they are assuming this right to police your site on the basis that you agreed to their terms of service, which is an over reach by all standards. Since when does a standalone company assume the right to determine what is on your privately owned site or not???
Please BEWARE of this before you buy!!!!

A: Hi there,

This has nothing to do with our policies. Our policies enforce GDPR and CAN-SPAM. What you are referencing, is probably what we reply in our verification process, for customers who select "Marketing" emails but do not collect opt-in consent.

In which case, we just guide them to what is necessary to do so.

Please understand that we are legally obligated to do so, and are here to help every customer to be GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliant.

Just to mention, you are facing fines up to 10k EUR for violating GDPR, so we do our best to ensure our customers are well informed and follow all necessary rules.
