Completely replaced my SendGrid Subscription
EmailIt is the game-changer I needed.
I decided to get the lowest tier to try it out for my business. Setting it up was easy, thanks to detailed documentation and instructions.
Something to note, upon initial setup, you should email support to get validated. Before validation, I experienced some failures, specifically with Microsoft accounts across the board (Hotmail, Live, 365). Immediately after receiving confirmation of my validation, I removed an address from the suppression list and tested a campaign with successful delivery straight to the inbox. It is amazing to have such a great tool available for a one-time purchase.
Let's look at the tools.
Audiences: This is where you can segment your contact list. For example, I have clients, potential clients, and leads. It allows you to manually add contacts or set up a URL that will automatically add subscribers to that specific audience.
Contacts: The name speaks for itself. You can manually create a contact or import via a CSV. Out of the box, the fields are first name, last name, email, and audience. You can also add custom fields.
Campaigns: Here, you can create your emails and send them to the respective audiences. There are three options for creating your campaign content. Their drag and drop editor called DragIt, an HTML editor, and a Rich-Text Editor. It also seems that there will be A/B testing coming soon. I'm hoping it will be sooner than later. You also have a preview for desktop and mobile. Testing is also built in, which is fantastic.
Emails: This is where you can see each email sent out by EmailIt with the date it was created, delivery status, as well as loads and clicks.
Metrics: Very basic metrics are displayed in a graph of the number of emails over the date sent.
Sending domains: self-explanatory. Here you can set up your various domains for sending. I will be upgrading soon to add additional domains.
Events: Here, you can see each event triggered. Whether an email was sent, loaded, delivered, etc.
Credentials: This is where you will get your details for setting up SMTP.
Webhooks: self-explanatory. You set up your webhooks. URL, and the events. You can choose all events or have it filtered to trigger on specific events like clicks or fails.
Suppressions: Here you will find contacts that unsubscribe or that experience hard fails.
