I purchased Emailit with the intention of setting up email marketing for my small business. The pricing and feature set looked promising, but the onboarding experience has been more frustrating than expected.

The biggest pain point is the verification process. It is not clearly explained upfront what is actually required. When it says "verify domain" during onboarding, it does not simply mean confirming your DNS records are correct — it requires specific wording and information when you first set up your workspace. My DNS records all showed as OK, so I assumed I was good to go. It took several days to figure out that the issue was with how I completed the onboarding, not my DNS setup. Clearer documentation here would save new users a lot of confusion.

Verification itself can take a week or longer, and support response times are slow, which makes troubleshooting difficult when you are stuck at this stage and cannot send any emails yet.

I want to be fair — I have not been able to fully use the product yet, so I cannot speak to how well it actually performs for sending. The concept is solid and the pricing is competitive. But for a tool aimed at small business owners who may not be technical, the onboarding process needs to be significantly more transparent about exactly what is needed at each step.

Reserving final judgment until I am through verification and can actually send emails. Will update my review at that point.
