I'm looking to collect a user's region in the email form. Their choice here would create a tag or category (whatever would allow me to email everyone that chose, say, the northeastern US as opposed to the southeastern US). Is there a way to do this now, or is this coming soon?

Right now, the native Forms in Encharge don’t support a drop-down field type yet. So if you’re looking to let users choose their region (or anything else from a list), the workaround for now is to use a third-party form tool like Typeform, Tally, or ConvertBox — and then connect that to Encharge using our Form Submitted trigger or via Zapier/Pabbly/etc.
Once the choice is passed into Encharge (via a custom field), you can absolutely:
• Use it in flows (e.g. “If Region = Northeastern US…”)
• Add tags based on their region
• Build segments and send targeted broadcasts later
As for drop-downs in Encharge’s native Forms — that’s a popular request and something we’d love to support. It’s already on our internal roadmap but we haven’t locked in a release date just yet. We’re still refining the form builder experience overall, and this is one of the key field types we know users are asking for.
We don’t want to commit to something we may change our mind on later — but safe to say it’s on the radar 🛠️
In the meantime, if you’re up for using an external form tool, you’ll be able to accomplish exactly what you’re describing.
