Q: API access and capabilities?
I was reading the API documentation and searched here for info about the API in this LTD. So now the questions:
1. Is REST API access included in these LTDs?
2. If yes, are some API endpoints or capabilities not included with this LTD?
3. Can campaigns be built from scratch via the API?
I suppose it would also help if there was a nice clean page someplace that lists all the REST API capabilities?
Thanks

Apr 16, 2025A: Hey RW90!! Great set of questions — and thank you for digging into the API side of things 🔍🔥
Here’s the breakdown on API access with the current 2025 AppSumo lifetime deal (Growth plan):
1. Is REST API access included in these LTDs?
✅ Yes, REST API access is included in all 2025 LTD tiers.
2. Are some API endpoints or capabilities not included with this LTD?
Yes, and this part is really important to clarify:
• The core REST API (for managing contacts, tags, lists, etc.) is included
• Event-based API (like sending custom "events" from your product) is not included in this LTD — that’s part of our Premium plan only
• This restriction also applies to event-based segmentation, which requires those event API calls
Basically: if you're building something that tracks product behavior in real time (e.g. “user clicked X in my SaaS”) and sends that into Encharge as a custom event — that’s a Premium-level use case.
That said, 2021 LTD buyers who had access to these event endpoints do still have them. If you’re a 2021 buyer and upgrade your deal to a new 2025 tier and lose access, just reach out to support@encharge.io and we’ll restore it manually for you.
3. Can campaigns be built from scratch via the API?
❌ Not fully. Right now, our API doesn’t let you programmatically create or manage Flows (automations/campaigns). You’ll still need to use the visual Flow Builder inside the Encharge app to set those up. Most API work is focused on contact management, tags, lists, and pushing people into automation via triggers like “Added to List.”
That said, we’re open to expanding this — if full automation management via API is important to you, please drop it on our feedback board: feedback.encharge.io 🙌
Let me know if you're thinking of using the API for something specific — happy to share some ideas or limitations upfront!
Appreciate you checking in, and hope we see you inside Encharge soon 🙌🙌🙌
