I haven't used FluentCRM so I'm afraid I won't be able to help, but you can check with the rest of the Sumo-lings that have used it.
The automation in FluentCRM isn't even close to as robust as encharge.
FluentCRM is definitely making ground though is still at least 2 years behind encharge in my opinion, and if encharge works at a fast pace as well, then FluentCRM may never catch up.
Very enlightening.
I am considering (purchasing and learning) Encharge.

P.s my timeline takes into account more than just automation, as FluentCRM wasn't very friendly using the email builder, while encharge is fully featured and you can create any type of design you can think of in their builder.
