Q: How does subaccount work and what are their limits for subscribers or can we set them each a quota?

Subaccounts are like separate accounts that share the same contact limit.
You can add different team members to each subaccount, have totally different contact lists in each subaccount, etc.
The total number of contacts across your subaccounts can’t be higher than the contacts on your license. If you have a 10,000-contact license and 4,000 contacts in one of your sub-account, the rest of the sub-accounts can have up to 6,000 contacts.
Adding a quota for subaccounts sounds like a good idea, and we will consider adding it to our roadmap if there is a demand for it.

We understand and agree with you. We built sub-accounts specifically for the AppSumo launch so sub-account management is not that robust yet. We do plan to make it more robust and sub-account quotas will be implemented.
