Q: New ThriveCart integration?
Can you explain what the benefit is of the new ThriveCart integration over the existing one?
Is it just that it’s easier to set up and/or work with?
If the only reason I’m considering Tier 6 over 2 or 3 is the ThriveCart direct integration, when otherwise 2 or 3 suits my needs, would you suggest going for 6 or can I still do what I need to without it?

Jun 1, 2025A: Hey Danielle! 🙌
Great question — and perfect timing!
We’ve just launched a brand-new native ThriveCart integration in Tier 6. It’s a big upgrade over the previous webhook-based workaround — here’s what’s new:
• Direct customer sync from ThriveCart to Encharge
• Native triggers for:
• New Order
• New Purchase
• Rebill
• Refund
• Easy filtering by product, upsell, bump, etc. — no manual config needed
So yes, it’s way easier and more powerful than before.
If ThriveCart automation is core to your setup (and you’d rather avoid third-party tools or webhooks), then Tier 6 is absolutely worth it. But if you’re okay with some manual webhook setup and just need the basics, Tier 2 or 3 could still get the job done.
Happy to help you weigh it out based on your exact workflow — just let me know! 🙏
I'm really, really sorry that you've decided only to include this simple integration in your highest tier. It's extreme as a small business to almost pay $900 more for this single extra benefit. Somehow this makes your product seems less attractive as I now have to do all this work manually knowing that you *could* turn this on easily - but just made it out of reach for small businesses :/
I'm all for making things easier, but at an $800-900 price jump when I don't need any of the other features that only come in Tier 6 and me needing that contact limit is a looooong way off, it just seems like the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I think I'm going to have to make do with webhooks or zapier. :(
Why is the new Thrivecart integration limited just to Tier 6?
Agree! I really can't figure out why Encharge cripple all lower tiers like that. A LOT of business owners will never need 50.000 contacts - let alone 24 sub accounts. But if you own ThriveCart you'll of course benefit for this integration. Why not at least offer it as an add-on for a one-time fee? No integration is worth $900 alone.
Totally get it — and really appreciate you sharing this 🙏
We know it’s frustrating if ThriveCart is the only thing you need from Tier 6. We placed it there to help fund deeper integrations and long-term development, especially for eComm users.
That said, you’re not alone in this feedback — and we’re open to exploring other opportunities. No promises yet, but we’re listening!
Noticing the list of features in the Thrivecart integration, "Abandoned cart" doesn't seem to be one of them? Please clarify? -- Also, is Convertbox also limited to Tier 6? I'm not finding it on the list.
Hey Tisha! 👋
You’re right to flag that — the ThriveCart integration doesn’t currently include an abandoned cart trigger. What we do support are:
• New Purchase
• New Order
• Rebill
• Refund
As for ConvertBox — that’s not a native integration in Encharge (it works via Webhooks or Make/Zapier), and it’s available on all tiers, not just Tier 6 🙌
I appreciate you taking time to reply to so many questions, @David! So, just to clarify, with other email tools, abandoned cart from Thrivecart is set up in Thrivecart, “When cart is abandoned, add tag in Kit” or whatever tool. Do you mean this is not even possible with Encharge, or simply works differently? — As per Convertbox, it’s a bummer. All my optins go through it with UTM links 😳
Totally — you can still do abandoned cart flows by tagging users in ThriveCart and triggering automation in Encharge that way. It’s not a built-in “Abandoned Cart” trigger, but it works 👍
As for ConvertBox, it’s external but you can pass UTM and custom fields via Make/Zapier.
Now, I'm confused - your documentation says the Convertbox integration is a native integration. Is it not?

Are there plans to expand on the capabilities of the native Thrivecart integration to include things like abandon cart, in the near future?
ConvertBox integrates via Webhooks, not as a native UI app. It works well and is available on all tiers, just not plug-and-play like Stripe, etc.
Re: ThriveCart — no native abandoned cart trigger yet, but tagging still works for those flows. We’re open to expanding it based on demand! 🙌
Thanks for pointing that out, Danielle!! It's great that it does "sync the visitor info", I wasn't aware of that. It's a bit complex since you cannot choose a specific tag from inside of Convertbox, so there's extra steps to locate the name of the form and set up the triggers in Encharge. I wish that was updated to work as in any other ESP, so you could add a tag directly, it would be a time saver
Hey David, thanks for answering all these questions! I just purchased tier 2 and am setting things up. So I see what you're saying about Convertbox working with Webhooks now, but my confusion is that as per the link I shared above there was a native integration. What happened to it?
Sorry, Tisha, to get your hopes up with that article, I'm a little disappointed as well.
Hey Danielle — totally fair question. ConvertBox never had a native app inside Encharge; the integration has always worked via Webhooks. That help doc could be clearer — we’ll revisit it to avoid more confusion like this. Appreciate you flagging it! 🙏
Danielle, I just purchased and I was able to connect Convertbox as per the instructions of this post. So it's not just Webhooks. I think David might be confused? Convertbox actually shows Encharge in the integrations list. Did you have issues setting it up?
Tisha,
I did set up the integration in Convertbox with the write key, but it doesn't do anything. I ended up having to use a Webhook to get it working. I assume Thrivecart will be the same.
There seems to be confusion around that - since the doc actually says it's a native integration and it's listed in Convertbox (same with Thrivecart) but David is right, it's not working.
I've read the comments and with less than an hour to purchase, I want to pull the trigger for Tier 6 but $800+ for full Thrivecart integration is a bit much for small/solopreneur businesses, especially for consultant/coaches w/small programs. Wow!! Sadly, I think it will be webhooks for me too. I did the calculations and it would take me 3-7 years before the cost would be worth it. Dang it.
Same here, I wanted it but decided the cost just wasn’t worth it - webhooks and zapier, it is!
