Q: Segmentation - Event based option. Please explain this using Advanced segmentation

Hello I was really excited about event based segmentation as I offer different sessions will manage evergreen flows with them

However , I just saw in someone's answer that you are not doing this in the 2025 LTD.

a)How I can achieve event based segmentation. ( im an energy healer and voice artist ) they will only want to be notified about a certain thing in my event calendar.
I would use lu.ma to sign them up and go to encharge . Can encharge tell what they select from the calendar? or must I create separate event posts.

b) alternatively can I create separate facepop widgets ( this is in app sumo )with a CTA to sign up ?
c) or use an interactive video html5 interactr
d) or google form
e) notion doc
F) does encharge create events to embed

A: Hey there! 👋 Thank you for the thoughtful and creative question — love your use case and the tools you're exploring 🙌 Let’s break it down together:

First: What is (and isn’t) possible with 2025 LTD
You're right — event-based segmentation (like segmenting contacts by specific events they triggered) is only available in our Premium plan. That means on the LTD (Growth plan), you can’t build dynamic segments based on event data (like “attended this session” or “clicked this link”).

BUT… you can still trigger automations and tag people based on actions, which gives you a powerful workaround 💪

a) Lu.ma calendar — can Encharge read what they select?
Not directly, but here’s how you could handle it:

• Set up a separate Lu.ma event for each session type (e.g., Reiki vs. Voice Activation)
• Connect Lu.ma → Encharge via Zapier or Make.com
• In the automation, tag the person based on the specific event they signed up for

From there, you can use tags to:
• Trigger different Flows
• Personalize emails
• Segment people manually

b–e) Other signup sources — totally doable ✅
You can connect tools like:

b) FacePop (via Zapier)
c) Interactr or HTML5 video (if they support a webhook or Zapier)
d) Google Forms (via Google Sheets + Zapier)
e) Notion (if using a 3rd party form or embed tool)

All of these can route data into Encharge, and again — you’d tag based on what they selected or signed up for.

f) Does Encharge create “events” to embed?
Encharge doesn’t currently create “event” widgets or embeddable calendars. But you can:

• Use Encharge forms to collect interest for specific sessions
• Or embed forms into Notion, Webflow, etc.
• Or capture activity from outside tools and map it back into Flows via Zapier

TL;DR: You can do what you're describing:
• Use tags + Flows to replicate event-based behavior
• Segment people based on what they signed up for
• Trigger emails, reminders, or upsells based on that logic

It’s not true event segmentation, but it’s very workable — and a lot of our community builds this way.

If you’d like help mapping out a sample setup, happy to sketch it out with you! 💫

Absolutely — you can do all of that with Encharge forms! 🙌

Use one form to collect signups for your FB group and GoBrunch access, then a second form after the session for your Inner Circle, podcast waitlist, and newsletter.

And yep — you can absolutely link or embed Encharge forms in Linkpod. Just use a button or link to open the form in a new tab, or embed it if Linkpod supports HTML.
