Q: What happens after 50k subscribers?
We are a high volume photography company and we work with roughly 100k kids. We could have upwards of 150k emails currently. We are growing fairly rapidly. Also, are we able to opt them in via a spreadsheet or will the parents have to opt in themselves in order to receive emails from us? We typically get an email list from the school.

May 28, 2025A: Hey Carl — thanks for the thoughtful question and the context 🙏
Sounds like you're doing meaningful work at scale — love seeing use cases like this come through.
Here’s how it works with Encharge:
✅ The highest tier on the AppSumo LTD is 50,000 subscribers (Tier 6).
If you need more than that in the future, you can absolutely grow beyond — you’d just pay monthly for the difference, but with 50% off our regular Growth plan pricing.
For example:
If you’re at 60,000 subscribers, you’d only pay for the 10,000 overage — at half the normal monthly price. You’ll see this upgrade path in your Billing → Upgrade tab inside Encharge.
✅ As for opt-in:
You can import subscribers via spreadsheet (CSV) — no need for each contact to re-opt in.
That said, you’re responsible for ensuring proper consent — especially when working with sensitive data from schools and minors.
Encharge is a powerful tool, but we don’t override email compliance laws. As long as you’ve got the proper opt-in or school/parental permission, you’re good to go. (And we include email verification at no extra cost to help keep your sender reputation clean.)
Let me know if you want to walk through your setup strategy — happy to help brainstorm the best structure for importing and sending at your scale!
