Q: What will happen to appsumo account after upgrade to premium?

A: Hey Evan! Great question 🙌

If you decide to upgrade your AppSumo account to the Premium plan, nothing is lost—you’ll still keep your AppSumo account and all its contacts, sub-accounts, flows, and data. You're simply upgrading the feature set, not replacing the account.

Premium unlocks advanced features like:
- API Events & Event-based Segmentation
- Transactional Emails
- Salesforce, Segment, and WooCommerce (for non-T6 users)
- Dedicated onboarding and migration help

And as a thank-you to our AppSumo community, we offer a 50% lifetime discount on the Growth plan if you'd rather take a smaller step up before going full Premium. You can find that option in your Encharge account under Billing → Upgrade.

Thanks David, If I got T6, and upgrade to premium, how's the contacts vs pricing work? let's say 30,000 contacts.

If you upgrade Tier 6 to Premium, you’re placed on the 50k Premium plan at full price by default. You can then downgrade to a lower contact tier to reduce cost, or revert back to your LTD Growth plan anytime (that’s for life!). If you stay on LTD and go over 50k contacts, you only pay for the overage—at 50% off Growth pricing.
