My verdict: 8/10 // in Tacos = 5 Tacos! .. in words: Super Happy, Satisfied and Excited :)
Excellent!
Bought 3 codes for the 2 annual in-person events I organise (1 for crypto community and 1 for the domain investor community).
SETUP: Was a bit worried that will need to buy 3 codes for each event type > was able to set up 3 different organisers out of the bat! .. note: did set up 1 only today (maybe there will be clash in checkouts as I have different companies for different events to mitigate possible risks). Result = Super Satisfied!
LOGICS: Perfect! Seriously! Well thought and you can play with the logics as you wish.
LAYOUT: Better than I expected. And the responsive version is perfect as well!
Finally I don't have to use EventBrite or WordPress for our events.
PROS: 1) Perfect Logics 2) Fast 3) Responsive 4) Looks professional 5) Allows to remove Eventzilla branding (haven't checked the emails yet) 6) Easy to set up everything (incl. connecting to Stripe)
CONS: 1) Speakers have only the basic social links: can't add GitHub (important for most IT events). Still, not crucial. 2) Custom domain doesn't stay on the clean url > has yourdomain.com/web/event?eventid=xxxxxxxx in the end. Again, not crucial. 3) You can't edit meta data - the feature should be introduced at some point / still, not deadly though links are ugly when the main domain is shared on social. 4) No Bitcoin/crypto checkout - well, I suppose it is difficult to get a commission from these / not crucial.
Yes, it does come with a price > but c'mon, we all want to pay bills, feed our families and live decent life.
1 thing I didn't expect buying 3 codes > I will need to pay $99 to unlock important mobile app features, especially these 3: 1) Private messaging between event attendees 2) (most probably) attendee list (not sure) 3) To be able to put up Sponson Logo .. and this is fine with me > again, everybody needs to make money.
My verdict: 8/10 .. in words: Super Happy, Satisfied and Excited :)
Note: haven't tested lots of features, don't shoot me if something goes wrong on later stages. :)

Eventzilla has everything you could want in an event and ticketing software package. It's loaded with helpful features and offers benefits that their competitors don't. They've been around since at least 2015 and have a sustainable business model and history.
I've been researching different event and ticketing software providers online, and most of them charge a lot for monthly fees or have a high per-ticket expense. Eventzilla's normal deal on their site seems to be intended for high-ticket events, and is beyond my means. But Eventzilla offering a lifetime deal here and removing that high per-ticket fee, for what they provide, is crazy. I'm not sure why they did it, but I'm glad they did!
There are some free ticket providers here on AppSumo as well, such as Ticket Tailor, but if you're doing anything for paid events, Eventzilla is much better. The features and functions they provide more than outweigh the per-ticket cost. I think their copywriter here is underselling what they provide. Once you get inside, it offers much more than you would have guessed.
But I'll admit that the math of the finances is what delayed my purchase. AppSumo members are used to getting great deals and offers on LTD software. Eventzilla's initial offering here was not in line with what users expect, so I think that may be why some people turned away from it; myself included. But then the owner improved the deal to the current 1.5% fee. For a $10 ticket, that's only $0.15. And you can pass that fee on to your customers or eat the cost for a flat ticket price.
Where it gets tricky is deciding if you'll use their personal payment program or use PayPal, Stripe, Square, Authorize.net, Braintree, or eWay. Each of these will reduce the cost for your attendees, but charge you a fee on the backend after processing the payment. For example: A $5.08 payment leaves you with $4.33. PayPal takes $0.75. That's $0.67 (which includes the hidden credit card processing) plus $0.08 for Eventzilla's 1.5%. Do you want to charge the customer more so you can earn more, or keep the price lower and end up making less per ticket?
Altogether, Eventzilla is the only software I've tried where I actually completed the set-up process and posted an event. The amount you can do with it is extensive, including adding a widget to your website that allows people to buy while visiting. They create event pages for you on their site, and you can CNAME to that page using your DNS setup with whatever URL you want, for every event.
They also have helpful tech support. I ran into an issue with the payment processing using Stripe, and they responded in a few hours and worked through it with me.
I feel like Tier 2 is the sweet spot, because then you're in the Plus plan. But Tier 3 gets you 1,500 more free tickets per month, so if you're doing more free events, then that's the way to go.
Overall, I'm surprised they're here, and that more people aren't taking advantage of this offer. It's a great deal.
i doubt you'll need to engage support, but i jacked up my account with invalid email address. EventZilla team fixed me up quick
This tool is in my back pocket for now, but i did setup some test events and integrated a pabbly workflow. just not ready yet, but glad i got the deal while i could. totally worth it long run. recommend it 5 tacos
Purchased the highest tier. After publishing my first event, got redirected to a Stripe payment page! Absolutely ridiculous!

All LTD plans have monthly allowances of registrations, beyond which overages are applicable as clearly advertised in the deal terms. When you publish your event, your billing details are collected, in order to bill you for overages ONLY if that would be ever required. As long as your usage remains within the stated monthly allowance, no charges will be collected. Hope this clarifies your concern.
