Everest Backup Reviews

I've tried using two other wordpress backup plugins and neither seemed to migrate everything and one made it so complicated I gave up on it. Everest Backup was able to clone a site and saved me a lot of $$$. If the deal came back I would most likely buy another code.

A pros is how easy it is to use. I linked it to google cloud. When you backup it automatically creates the folder for all the backups. You can also set the location folder. The migration key made it easy for me to clone the backup without having to select a backup I needed.

My only con was the with the OneDrive. When I went through the process of linking my account. I was concerned about what information OneDrive would share access to. I think they just gave me to much information. This created more questions than answers.

Everest Backup my only suggestion is to add a disclosure like a popup before linking to a cloud service just explaining what information your accessing on all the cloud drives. Don't leave it up to the cloud service to explain it because like Microsoft I think they said to much.

With my different hosters, there are no more bugs and the support has been very good at fixing the issue I had. It was worth buying to get the perfect backup solution for all my WordPress websites.
I can now safely schedule my backup to pCloud or elsewhere, even with large WP websites. Congratulations and thank you, you delivered what you promised.

I bought four codes and I really enjoy using Everest Backup.

The communication is almost perfect - when I sent a message via the contact form, no answer arrived, however the reaction for the bug report was fast.

What I miss is a more detailed documentation about how the software works. For example migration and cloning documentation is one sentence.

Sometimes the automatic backup is stuck and I have to abort it manually, but I didn’t notice any other bugs.

I recommend using Everest Backup for everyone who has WordPress websites.

Everest backup is a reliable solution for data backup, and the support provided via email is commendable. However, there seems to be a lack of clear instructions on how to use and connect things. I didn't find it intuitive. It would be beneficial for the company to improve the documentation and provide more detailed guidance to users.

Everest Backup has potential but after using it to try to backup several sites, it's not ready for primetime. It functions somewhere like an early beta release.

It hangs often during backups and restores, and when it does, it shows a weird message at the bottom of the plugin screen that asks you why you're deactivating the plugin.

There's several other bugs I've encountered but at the end of the day it needs a lot more beta testing. For most LTDs I'm willing to wait it out, but on something as mission critical as website backup and migration, I have to draw a line.

If you are willing to roll the dice, maybe this will be worth it at some point. Their support was responsive, so that's a positive and I wish them the best.
