A: Yes! When you create a new expense, you can choose between uploading your receipt (and letting ExpenseMonkey extract the data for you) or simply entering the details manually — whatever works best for you. And good news: there’s no limit to the number of receipts or invoices you can upload.

Is there any plans to add an accounting integration similar to QuickBooks? I run a small side business and if I can use ExpenseMonkey to keep those expenses/revenue separate then that would be great!

Q: Limit access to projects

Hello,
I want to use this tool to track expenses for various locations of my business - different locations, under the same company name.
Is this possible? Perhaps if I categorize the locations as projects. Or if you have another suggestion?
Then can I assign users to only have access to submit expenses for projects/locations that they are assigned to?

A: Right now, ExpenseMonkey doesn’t have built-in mileage tracking, but you can still track mileage expenses for different vehicles using categories or projects.

Here’s how you can do it:

Use Categories: Create custom categories like "Mileage - Car A" and "Mileage - Car B" to separate expenses by vehicle.
Use Projects: Set up a project for each vehicle and assign mileage expenses accordingly.

This way, you can easily track and report mileage for different vehicles within the system. Mileage tracking is also on our feature request list, so stay tuned for updates! 🚗😊
