Hi, We bought the appsumo deal and are quite happy with it. But it is fully unclear to us, what is on the roadmap and what recent updates have been done. Can you point me to the right page? Also, where can we reach you for feedback/suggestions? Thanks!
Your product looks very promising. To comply with the local laws, we need the address of the vendor on the receipt and their Tax No. also in the expense report. Is there a way to extract these two fields from the receipt also ?
A: Thanks so much for the kind words—great to hear you’re finding ExpenseMonkey promising!
At the moment, our receipt scanner focuses on extracting key fields like merchant name, date, total amount, tax/VAT, and currency. However, extracting additional fields like the vendor address and Tax Number is a very relevant use case, especially for tax compliance in certain countries.
While these fields are not yet extracted automatically, you can currently add them manually using the notes or custom fields in each expense. That way, they’ll appear in your exported reports.
The good news: we're actively working on improving our extraction engine, and vendor address and Tax No. are on our roadmap. If you'd like, we can keep you updated as soon as this feature is available.
A: Yes, you can upload bank statements or credit card statements to ExpenseMonkey! While we currently don’t automatically parse bank statement PDFs, you can manually upload them and attach them to relevant projects or categories to keep everything organized for tax purposes.
We're also working on expanding our import capabilities in the future—stay tuned! In the meantime, you can use the receipt upload feature or enter transactions manually for a clear overview of your expenses.
If you need help with any of this, just let us know—we’re happy to support you!
A: Yes! When you create a new expense, you can choose between uploading your receipt (and letting ExpenseMonkey extract the data for you) or simply entering the details manually — whatever works best for you. And good news: there’s no limit to the number of receipts or invoices you can upload.
Is there any plans to add an accounting integration similar to QuickBooks? I run a small side business and if I can use ExpenseMonkey to keep those expenses/revenue separate then that would be great!
Hi there, yes. Xero and Quickbooks is coming globally real soon, still in H1. Drop us a line at support@expensemonkey.io if you request other integration.

Q: Is manual entry available
Is manual entry available if we prefer to do it that way? Is there any limit to the number of receipts and invoices that can be uploaded?
