Since fable creates fully interactive html demos - it is best suited for web based applications/ responsive pages/ web pages.

That said, if you intend to create guides and demos from desktop products - you will have to capture screenshots & upload them to fable.

On the desktop app: we don't have a plan to create one in the near term.
