May 21, 2024A: Thank you so much for asking this.
Guidejar/ Smartcue/ Floik are all screenshot tools. They do not help you create fully interactive demos at all.
The above tools have limited use cases and can be mostly used for quick how-tos.
Fable lets you customize your demos based on use case, persona, etc.
Fable with its no-code platform helps you to:
- Create fully interactive demos & embed on websites/ landing pages to increase conversions.
- Share demos in email campaigns/ follow-ups by sales teams to close more deals
- Use in knowledge bases to reduce support tickets.
Do let us know if we can help with any further details.
How does fable make the demos more interactive than a screenshot?
When we create an fully interactive demo, this is what we mean:
- The native transitions of the product are captured. These include the scrolls, hovers, etc of the application.
- This will enable your buyer to experience the product. The outcome looks and feel as close to the real product as possible.
- Since we capture the entire HTML code to create the demo, you can: edit any element on the screen, replace images, blur/ delete any sensitive elements. This will help you customize demos by use case, persona, industry, and many more.
- The use cases for the above are with marketing teams to showcase your product on a landing page, sales teams to create customized demos for every prospect, etc.
- Also, with Fable's custom effects, you can showcase and highlight specific elements in a demo & make users interact with them. The screenshoot demos do not let the users interact with the demo. Though they are a good for a start, you can think of them as a presentation.
Ahh makes sense now. I just watched SaaS Master's review and that helped as well.
Glad that you watched the youtube review & found it helpful. :)
Hi Vikas,
Fable looks great but not sure this is true "They do not help you create fully interactive demos at all." I have created interactive demos.
Hi JoeSchmoe,
Thank you for your message.
Fully interactive demos can be created with tools that help you capture the entire HTML code and not just a screenshot.
For reference, some other tools (in addition to Fable) that do this are: Storylane and Navattic.
Do let me know if I can help with anything else. Thank you.
