Warning before you think about buying this software:
- it is buggy (the ai isnt working)
- it has zero support / all communication pathways for support have been removed.

Game over I'm afraid.... im not sure why this has happened.

I have reached out to support with no response. They added some new features that are not included with the AppSumo deal, but it also does not tell you how many credits you need to purchase to get the feature you would like to use. I purchased credits, it must not have been enough and I was not able to use them. BUT they took the credits away. I reached out to support, nothing. Crickets! Very disappointed in this. Looks like others are having an issue with support as well in the questions tab.

I recently had the opportunity to try out Fable, a tool designed to create interactive demos and step-by-step guides, and I must say, it's been a revelation. As someone who's always on the lookout for innovative solutions to enhance user engagement, I was excited to dive into Fable's features and see how it could benefit my business.

The Good
- Seamless Recording Experience: Fable's browser extension makes it incredibly easy to record demos, and the AI-powered editing tool helps to break down the recording into interactive pages. This feature alone has saved me hours of manual editing time.
- On-Screen HTML Customization: The ability to edit HTML directly on the screen is a massive advantage. It allows me to customize the demo to fit my brand's style and remove any sensitive information, making it a must-have feature for me.
- Responsive Design: Fable's responsive design ensures that my demos look great on any device, which is essential for catering to a diverse user base.

Areas for Improvement
- Limited Audio Options: While Fable's text-to-speech feature is decent, I'd like to see more advanced audio options, such as the ability to upload custom audio files or integrate with popular audio platforms.
- Occasional Glitches: I've experienced some minor glitches while using Fable, but the support team has been responsive and helpful in resolving these issues.

The Verdict
Fable is an excellent tool for creating interactive demos and step-by-step guides. Its ease of use, on-screen HTML customization, and responsive design make it a standout product in its class. While there are some areas for improvement, I'm confident that the Fable team will continue to refine and expand the product's features.

Will I continue using Fable? Absolutely. I've already seen significant improvements in user engagement and conversion rates since implementing Fable, and I'm excited to explore its full potential.

It was one of the most promising products I purchased on AppSumo. However, there have been no updates on their roadmap, and even the support team is not responding anymore. It seems they have abandoned the product. Hopefully, I can get my refund before the 60-day period ends.

during the campaign we made the purchasing decision understanding that if we bring our ai key we can continue to use our own llm models to generate demos without the limitations of the "ai credits" that is not the case. in our view this product is not worth the effort to implement/use just to have such limitations.
