They offered an unlimited domain deal on AppSumo last year with what appears to be more advanced features like sentiment analysis, activity feeds, reporting/statistics, knowledge base articles, changelog subscriptions, etc.
Will you be building any of those features? At the very least, changelog subscriptions seems doable and is one of the feature requests on your feedback page ("Let people subscribe to changelog"). Yet you didn't reply to the idea at all :/
Hi, subscribing to changelog elements is certainly in our long term plans. We didn't reply because we submitted the idea ourselves! ;)
Regarding the other tool you mentioned, I can't answer in detail as I haven't used it. We try and keep the product very simple and don't just build anything that gets requested. There will definitely be products with more features.

Is it possible to ask for account verification before acceding to the boards/roadmap?
Right now, it seems that you can just create a generic email with the right "domains" and even if the address doesn't exist you can still access everything!
The best option, for now, would be to set up your board as Private and integrate it with SSO, so you can manage the whole login/registration process directly on your website.
