Hi there,
I'd like to ask a few questions:
1. Let's say I have a post on Instagram where I ask people to comment a specific word like "Guide", can FeedGuardian then automatically DM these people with more information? In other words, does it do auto DM?
2. If so, how does this work with the usage limits of 3,500 per month for Tier 1? Let's say someone comments below an Instagram post, then FeedGuardian replies on that comment AND sends them an auto DM with more information, does that count as 2 messages (taken from the 3,500 limit)? Also, what happens if the person continues to chat in the DM conversation with for example follow-up questions, will FeedGuardian then count that as well?
I'm just trying to figure out when comments/DMs are consuming these monthly credits.

Thank you for your questions.
1. Yes, we have an Dm automation addon inside the app that support replying to comments if they contain keyword. Currently its on sale for 19.99€.
2. Messages or comments that you send DON'T count torwards the limit; only interaction that come into the app. If the person that continues their conversation with you, those messages from the person DO count towards the limit.

Thank you! Too bad that it's a monthly add-on. That's a dealbreaker for me. I know other tools that have it included without add-ons.
It´s unfortunate to have addons for such a young startup. We are early backers and to pay $20 per month for such feature looks like a money grabbing. Add it as standard (maybe to Tiers 3 & 4) and we start to support...

I need to agree. I can't even start using it, because YT isn't available (waiting quota increase), the app is nice, but could use some slight design improvements and overall it needs to mature. T3/4 already have Weekly Interactions and Real Time Alerts and we still see those banners everytime. I need to add that T4 doesn't provide huge value compared to T3. Could be nice to offer Smart DM to T4s.
I completely agree with what’s been said. This isn’t the right way to show appreciation to early Sumo-lings supporters, especially when important add-ons are hidden or restricted.
The DM feature is the main reason many of us grabbed a tool like this in the first place, so limiting or obscuring it undermines the core value proposition.
Exactly. I was about to purchase this until I heard about the add-ons. It's a bit sneaky to hide this information as it seems like a very logical feature to have. They didn't mention that it was a monthly subscription either. Other than that, I think FeedGuardians looks pretty cool and if this feature was included, I would have bought it.
I also believe this function should be offered as a lifetime deal from tier 1 to all tier members, with a limited number of auto DMs. If someone needs more credits, they can purchase an add-on. It seems like the owner just wants to attract people and force them to buy add-ons, which makes it less useful. I think it would be better to offer a limited number instead. then i will also purchase this
Hi, because I can't reply under the thread I will do it here:
- We included smart DM automation also in the appsumo Tier 4
- We rather went with more interations in each Tier insted of then limiting users for each feature that we are offering (X is exception, because their API pricing keep changing)

Thanks for that. What are the monthly limits on DM automation messages? How many can be sent per month in Tier 4? If it was part of Tier 3, I would have purchased it probably.
