Great Progress, But Needs Better Manual Override, and More Reliable Testimonials

I want to give credit where it’s due. The founders, Jan and Lenart, are incredibly responsive. I recently reached out about needing live, clickable links in DMs, and they implemented the capability almost immediately. Having leadership that listens and ships updates that fast is a major plus.

The Standout Features
Smart AI Moderation: Beyond basic keywords, the AI uses sentiment and intent analysis to detect negativity or spam, which is a huge time-saver for anyone managing high-volume feeds.

AI Knowledge Base: You can "train" the bot on your own PDFs or website data, allowing it to provide detailed, natural-sounding answers to customer questions.

Direct Link Injection: Automated DMs now support live hyperlinks, making it easy to drive traffic from comments to your courses or products.

Multi-Workspace Management: The UI is clean, and the higher tiers offer significant value for managing multiple brands or client accounts from one dashboard.

The Critical Red Flags
Ghost Testimonials: A major transparency issue on their site is the list of user testimonials featuring social media handles that don't exist, as I searched for many of them online. For a tool built on social media reputation, using unverifiable "placeholder" profiles as social proof is a significant trust barrier. While it is common for early-stage SaaS companies to use "placeholder" or "anonymized" testimonials during their beta phase, they risk overshadowing the legitimate work they are doing.

Lack of Granular Control (this is a big one): The AI currently feels like an "all-or-nothing" system. Unlike its competitor, ManyChat, FeedGuardians lacks the ability to easily pause the auto-reply for one specific customer conversation without disabling the automation for every other user on the account. If you reply manually while the AI is still active, you risk the "Double Reply" glitch, where the bot interrupts your conversation with a second, and potentially less favorable automated response. On the other hand, turning off the auto-reply feature creates a "global blackout" where all your followers lose access to instant AI support just so you can handle a single manual conversation.

The Verdict: The tech is evolving rapidly, and the support is solid. If the team can replace their fake social proof with real users and add a "manual override" for individual chats to ensure better control of responses, this will be a top-tier ManyChat competitor.

Hello!

Thank you for your honest review. We value each review and each question equally so we try to provide as much value as possible.

Yes, it's true that we've had the testimonials up since beta test but we've just haven't had the time to swap them with real users because we're busy with providing value for our actual customers. But I totally agree that it's overshadowing our legitimate work and we'll work on replacing them soon. Care to be the first one? :D

We appreciate any constructive criticism which we always try to improve upon so feedback about the Granular Control is noted and will be improved. If you have any additional ideas for improving the app, either features or UX, please don't hesitate to reach us either on the apps chat or our info email. We'll be happy to add whatever our users deem worthy.
