And I don't regret it. Why did I ask for a refund in the past? Not because I didn't like it, but because I had too many AI tools, and the first version connected various services and endpoints, enabling searches that I didn't really need. Now it offers everything and truly serves as a second brain! The update caused some issues, and some people didn't have the patience to wait for its resolution, so they came here to complain with one-star reviews. But believe me, it's stable now, working as it should, and will only get better with time. It was important enough for me to write about it again here and recommend this version! It is indeed one of the best second brain apps sold on AppSumo at this time, available for a limited time and possibly never again.
Well, I really don't the latest reviews saying Findr is broken after the v2 has been released. Are you sure you use Findr?! Better than ever guys. You may need to read the help doc, no? Feel free to comment above, because I can't understand these bad reviews.
Hi Looks cool, How about, searching for info, "not in an app - files", but simply search for some specific info that is inside ex. a pdf or word doc etc file in a folder on the Mac's HD or a external hd(Mac)? - Can I search direct into / inside such files (pdf's & word doc's etc.) via the downloaded and installed Findr app, by writing in it and then "simply select" the folder or drive/ hd? (I got a external backup 14T WD HD/drive, I right now use the HoudahSpot app when searching for a specific topic that is inside ex. a pdf. - Which sometimes HoudahSpot does not return with a result, as the info apparently is "buried to deep" inside a pdf or what ever reason). If Findr, can do this, you got an new customer .. Kind regards Henrik
I have a specific need. I work with thousands of emails that are separated into folders and I need AI to analyze the emails and their contents. I saw that Findr has a connection with Outlook, but in this case does this connection also include the IMAP accounts linked to it? Can Findr perform this type of analysis on the content of emails contained in Outlook/IMAP folders?
I'd really want an app to search my mac's files with AI using search terms like 'last month's word file about the plaza proposal', 'photos with a cat next to me' Could this be done?
